The presence of wisdom teeth can be painful and potentially damaging. It’s very important to have them assessed so we can determine, with X-rays, how many you have as well as their location. The number of wisdom teeth varies for every patient. While some people have all four teeth, others may have no teeth.
With an assessment, we are able to identify any potential problems and discuss the best management plan. This may involve removing them as a preventive approach to avoid gum infections and tooth decay on neighbouring teeth.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Whilst we will always discuss possible risks and complications before proceeding, you may also seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
